vtec 1964 mini cooper
i love the old mini cooper… andy and i have always talked about taking classic cars and updating them… he found this mini on craigslist with a honda VTEC engine in it… looks like a sweet car, but i think it’s too much at $35k… it sure is nice though. i like it.

You should make a sub frame for this engine , and you chan fit b16a engine without sub frame and b18c with sub frame .

i,m looking at buying a mini and turning it into a track car. i like the idea of the honda vtec buthow much would the conversion cost? and is it reltively simple is ther a lot of work involed?

a engine swap to a honda vtec engine is complicated and expensive.
this to take the enthusiasm away.
to do sutch a engine swap you have to own a lot of money, about 10k pounds, further you need a huge amount of various tools, enouthspace and time.
fore more details ( proper solution
you need a new subframe;approximately 1k pounds
