tom cruise goes crazy on oprah
Increasingly so, I cannot work in a quiet environment.. there are multiple theories as to why I seem to have an onset of ADD, but that’s probably why I definitely prefer IM to the phone or even email..
Anyway, I work with the TV on in the background as a nice way to quench the ADD part of my psyche — today, Tom Cruise was on Oprah today — just in time for sweeps week.. I really don’t usually watch Oprah, but honestly, the only other thing that was on was an episode of Macguyver with Teri Hatcher in it. I highly recommend against watching re-runs of Macguyver, since it makes you realize just how lame of a show it was (I swear it wasn’t so cheesy back then). Macguyver re-runs don’t hold up to the test of time.. and the fact that they recycled like the same 3 asian actors through every episode really started to get annoying.
So yah… back to Tom. he seems REALLY jazzed about dating Katie. I mean.. REALLY REALLY REALLY jazzed.. like almost in a Howard Dean, Tana from the apprentice, “Yeeaaaaaarrrrgghhhh” kind of way.. Overly excited.. He spent most of the first 45 minutes jumping on the couch and pounding on the floor, exclaiming how much in love he is with Katie. Oprah asked if he and Katie were going to get married and he hinted that they were discussing it all. I mean, yah.. she’s really hot/cute and all, but this whole thing still stinks of a badly orchestrated PR stunt.
At the end of the show Tom ran backstage and dragged a sheepish Katie out to meet everyone. She looked absolutely terrified, like a girl who’s PR agent told her that she’d be dating Tom Cruise for a little while. I mean.. what do they have to gain? It’s not like they have new movies to promote, or that they’re filming Mission Impossible 3.. oh.. wait..
Damn, those two can act.

I remember reading a long time ago in some random “help you study better” book that my mother bought me that males for some reason or another work better with background noise, wheras women crave silence to concentrate. What’s funny about it, is I think it’s true.

cruise is a little h0r… but i guess that he enjoys being oprah’s dancing monkeyboy for the the legions of (desperate) housewives. i don’t think that katie holmes was even born when he made the outsiders. cheers!

I heard Tom Cruise acted strangely on Oprah from my mother. I would not be at all surprised if he is, in fact, cracking up.
Nicole Kidman’s career is so much better than his. She married him when he was a superstar and now she’s a bigger superstar than he is - in box office terms anyway. Tom has good reason to be angry. In the closet his whole life… now this phoney PR courtship… Carrer on the skids… I worry about that boy.

haha, tom cruise, what a fool! For me, it was an embarassment to watch, and katie had the right idea to stay off the set… oprah, u spawn some meaningless crap

Poor Tom, look at Nicole now, I recently watched Bewitched with Co-Star Jim Ferrel, that moment I realized how Nicole’s acting improved, she’s really funny! Tom, it’s obviously a mid-crisis.

I have read so many lies about Tom Cruise on the press that I don’t believe anything they say anymore. If they were true he probably would have married Katie about 2000 times. He would have eaten placenta which he only said as a joke while laughing on a TV interview I watched. He would have split with Katie 3000 times. And many many more. All of his movies would have sunk at the box office while the statistics still show his movies keep being international hits of one or another magnitude, but International box office HITS. All these lies and attacs towards him had made me start to think about what is really going on here. Why so many lies? Why so many attacks? Well, I suspect he might have been right when he attacked psychiatry last year and now they are attacking back covertly. It’s the only explanation that makes sense to me. He said the truth and that could put their multi billion drug business in danger. Ouch!! So I am starting to consider Tom as a very brave man who faced all alone the global fraud of psychiatry and who is now paying for having dared to face the multi billion dollar psychiatric drug industry fraud!! Don’t accept to be brainwashed by the media lies anymore. Let’s all USE our brains and honestly investigate and find the TRUTH behind!
